INFO

Mike Diaz is a decorative artist and aesthete, based in Mexico City, working for more than twenty years with craftsmen and workshops in the states of Michoacan and Guerrero, and with a broader network of sources and experts for fine and folk art, antique and contemporary.

These relationships have produced striking decorative art and furniture recognized for their rustic and whimsical character, a distinctive naive interpretation of multiple historicized influences and motifs, ceremonial and ironic themes, bold forms, generous and robust proportions, as well as commissions and consultations of interiors and architectural projects.

His work has been sought after internationally by many important interior designers and architects, figures in art, fashion, business, finance, politics, celebrities, and has been featured in numerous books and publications such as Architectural Digest, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Elle Decor, Vogue Japan, Town and Country, House and Garden UK, as well as others.
